Chrome O/S & Ubuntu

Chrome O/S

Google have recently released their own operating system called Chrome O/S. it was based and designed on the linux system and it was mainly created for people who spend most or all of their time on the internet on their computer and don't need or useany programs. Design goals for Google Chrome OS's user interface include using minimal screen space by combining applications and standard Web pages into a single tab strip, rather than separating the two. Designers are considering a reduced window management scheme that would operate only in full-screen mode. Secondary tasks would be handled with "panels": floating windows that dock to the bottom of the screen for tasks like chat and music players. Split screens are also under consideration for viewing two pieces of content side-by-side. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_Chrome_OS

Ubuntu

This is a operating system based on the Debian GNU/Linux distribution. It is distributed as free and open source software with additional proprietary software available. Ubuntu provides an up-to-date, stable operating system for users, with a strong focus on usability and ease of installation. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ubuntu_(operating_system)
